Eirik Salvesen

Dr. Eirik Aasland Salvesen represents Oris Dental, the leading DSO in Norway. He is one of the co-founders and continues to hold positions as CEO of Oris Dental and Executive Director of the Oris Academy.

In addition to working hands-on at Oris Dental in Stavanger and serving as a board member in Oris Dental Holding, Salvesen has lectured worldwide since 2004. He has been responsible for surgical courses and lectures for Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and Geistlich - for whom he has worked with both as a clinical consultant and product developer.

From 2015-2016 Salvesen worked as a supervisor for the Specialist program in Periodontology at the University of Bergen, responsible for the candidates' surgical implant training. Furthermore, Salvesen has been a designated expert on BLX and TLX implant systems for Straumann since 2017. Oris Academy in Stavanger is appointed "Advanced Educational Center" on the topic of immediacy.

Salvesen is a long-time fellow of the ITI and involved in product development with Straumann and 3Shape. He has also contributed to developing a new program of education under ITI and IMD's auspices - The Dental practice management course.

Salvesen sees the patient journey as the backbone of every successful dental practice and has spent the last two decades refining this journey with his team. The result now serves as the cultural base of the rapid growth of Oris Dental.

He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology.

Steven Bongard

Dr Steven Bongard obtained his DDS degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1986. His professional interest has been concentrated on all aspects of implant dentistry since 1995. He has extensive experience in implant placement, bone grafting procedures as well as the prosthetic component of implant restoration. He has published and lectured both nationally and internationally on implant placement, full arch rehabilitation and non-grafted immediate approaches to implant surgery. He presently maintains a dental practice in Toronto, Ontario that is exclusive to the placement and restoration of dental implants. His recent focus has been on developing a community resource and training centre that can provide access to innovation, technology and advanced infrastructure, as well as support and mentoring, to the dental implant community.

Luiz H. Gonzaga, DDS, MS, graduated from theCatholic University of Brasilia College of Dentistry in2004. After working in private practice and attending periodontics/implants CE courses for one year, he wasaccepted for the Implant/Periodontic specialtytraining, graduating in 2009 from the IPESP Brasilia. Doctor Gonzaga wasawarded the ITI scholarship in 2009 andcompleted his Implant fellowship the following year. In 2011he was accepted and completed a residency program and Maters in Prosthodonticsfrom the University of Florida in 2014. Currently, he is a Clinical Associate Professor at theUniversity of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry. Dr.Gonzaga is an ITI speaker and Fellow of theInternational Team for Implantology, a member of the AmericanCollege of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Current the communications officer for the USA section of the ITI and President of the Florida Prosthodontic Association. Doctor Gonzaga lectures nationally and internationally on the topic of implant dentistry, has published in peer-reviewed journals and has collaborations with U Michigan, U Kentucky, and the University of Sao Paulo. Most of all, doctor Gonzaga is a clinician and practices at the Center for Implant dentistry five days a week, treating complex patients with surgical or prosthetic needs that involve dental implants.

Adam Hamilton

Adam Hamilton BDSc, DCD, FRACDS is the director of the Division of Regenerative Sciences and Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general dental education at the University of Western Australia and has a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in the specialty of Prosthodontics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He was the recipient of an ITI scholarship through which he completed a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Florida’s Center for Implant Dentistry. He maintains a clinical practice focusing on prosthodontic and surgical implant treatment at the Harvard Dental Center

Alberto Ortiz-Vigón

I have been in implant dentistry for over 20 years I have great understanding of practices from starting out as general Dental nurse to working in specialized fields of Implantology, Periodontology and Prosthodontics and becoming a Treatment Coordinator and Practice Manager in Multidisciplinary clinics. I set up my Coaching and Training Business to share my passion, knowledge and create opportunities for practices to strengthen their vision, Values, Team goals and Patient Experience to ultimately increase revenue. I have prepared, delivered presentations and courses from clinicians studying for their Masters to Reception team. I provide coaching and mentoring to teams in the development of practices, this includes sales, enhancing communication, mindset coaching, business development and understanding procedures and polices for successful practice along with training for implant nursing and treatment coordination. Currently studying for the Diploma Master Practitioner in NLP and the foundation Degree in Management Coaching and Mentoring.

Marlene Teo

Dr Marlene Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore, where she was the 6th dental graduate in its 64-year history to be awarded BDS Honours. Throughout her course of study, Dr Teo was awarded a total of 11 academic and clinical medals, including the Lee Kuan Yew gold medal (best student throughout course). Dr Teo subsequently obtained her Masters in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was selected as one of four finalists in the prestigious Orban competition. That same year, Dr Teo was also awarded the North Carolina-AADR Turner Research award. She’s an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and an ITI Fellow. She was also an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2018. She has lectured widely on the Periodontal and Aesthetic aspects of Dental Implants. Dr Teo currently maintains a clinical practice limited to periodontics and dental implants at TP Dental Surgeons Pte Ltd.

Dr Marisa Zenha received her dental degree in 2007 from ISCS-N, Porto, Portugal and her Diploma of Advanced Studies from University of Dentistry of Barcelona, Spain in 2009. She then finished her Post-Graduation in Oral Rehabilitation and Occlusion, in ISCS-N, Porto, Portugal in 2010. She has been in private practise in Porto since 2007, focusing on aesthetic and implantology. She is guest assistant at the Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery Service of the Vila Nova de Gaia Hospital in Portugal where she participates in oral tumour surgeries, clinical follow-up of patients with head and neck disorders, oral rehabilitation of cancer patients and follow-up of temporomandidbular dysfunction patients and orofacial pain. She is a member of various dental societies and has published both nationally and internationally, and has also lectured several dental implant courses in Portugal
